Very much like a Dark Ages situation, but more accurately is that we have stagnated in our forward growth. I don't mean so far as technology goes, we have that out the yang, but if you look at a lot of it, its filler.

Much of it serves no purpose other than to use up (waste) free time. People talk about how it makes the more efficient, but 99% of the population is using it as a time killer. How many people do you know with a Blackberry/iPhone/smartphone who doesn't *really* use it for business?

It's my standard response to anybody black I meet who seems to think they are owed something NOW because of something that happened hundreds of years ago. Had some wonderful arguments with one of my brother's friends about it but she really is one of those people that brings trouble upon herself in calling anyone who doesn't agree with her a racist.
