photoshop7 fucked up - any idea?

heyas, maybe you know a fix for this shit ... for some strange reason all outta the blue when clicking "save for web" the damn preview console of the pic i wanna save pops up full screen instead of the maybe 1 quarter screensize box it used to someone an idea how to fix this shit? tia

ps: no matter how often i drag it back to size, when saving the next pic it does the same shit AGAIN

You may need to edit the source code.

Edit > Preferences
General
Click Reset All Warning Dialogs

Don't know if that will do the trick, but it's always the first thing I try when PS goes wonky.

I tihnk youll be hard pressed to find anyone with photoshop 7 to trry and replicate it, On cs5 i show a zoom % box on the bottom left, what is that set to?

I think mine looks like too, but just thougt it was the norm.... and I don't have seven here, I do have it on one of my old ones at home tho.

have you tried re-sizing it using the resize handle on the bottom right side of the save dialogue window? it looks like there is one of those from your images.

yeah, try resizing it, then clicking done and then restarting ps7

reformat your pc and install the phot0shop 7, the best thing you will ever do!!!!!
