How do you 'forget' to put the seat down? As you approach the throne you're looking right at it, so forgetting shouldn't even enter into it. You either see it's up and put the damned thing down or your head is somewhere in the clouds and you're not even aware of what you're doing, in which case it's a wonder you even found your way to the bathroom without getting lost.
I agree with those saying women should quit their bitching about it. In fact if their guy is a stander then they could be courteous themselves and put the seat BACK UP when they're done.
I've seen couples argue over this, even had a few girlfriends in the past try nagging me about this. It completely baffles me why so many people want to spend their time fighting and bitching and crying over this trivial bullshit.
