ok so we should all run out and buy a iphone and throw away out camcorders and make porn on our iphones?

I just don't get the craze about camera phones and people saying the phone is ok but the camera sucks... to me the phone, apps, and net speed are all I care about in a smart phone.. if I want to take a great picture i use a real digital camera and or camcorder..

but yes it is a cool video for sure

Had to watch it twice to fully appreciate how much effort they put into that.
Of course, those people have knowledge of filming and editing beforehand.

They did a great job.

I dont think anyone ever said throw out your cameras because iphone now rules all... This is just showcasing what the iphone is capable of. IMO the number one benefit an iphone video camera has over a real digicam is convenience.

Yeah I know, I just meant ingeneral.. I've asked people how they like this phone or that phone and most people seem to make big deals about the cameras. I don't know but if I was going to a wedding or bday party I would take a digital camera still..

I also have a flip hd and it takes great video for its size

Most of the newer smart phones (HTC EVO, Samsung Galaxy S) shoot the same quality video as the Flip HD.

I just picked up the motorola droid a few weeks ago and haven't tried the video yet but the 5mp camera is decent for a phone
