it depends where your going, but I prefer LGA it's much smaller.

If your going overseas JFK is better because they have more direct flights...

LGA(I lived in NJ/NY for 8yrs)

LGA is quiet, more organized, smaller

JFK is a mad house,

Easier to get to LGA

Thought the place was a dive. Pretty filthy, to be honest. I was rather shocked as it was the first impression I was given of NYC. But, as mentioned, it was the easiest to get to Time Square and it wasn't too big.

just go to LGA, make sure u can get a flight there.. way less flights from there.. smaller terminals, etc

NYC airport bathrooms are terrible the worst I've seen since I have been traveling the last couple of years.

If price an issue better check how much will cost to get to destination and back. Car fare is not cheap.
