I'm on Sprint and have the EVO. We don't get 4G turned on until next week sometime, but I will gladly pay the extra $10 a month for it.

The new iPhone is nice, but it doesn't stand up to the EVO.

Sprint also announced today their new Samsung phone, that all the carriers are getting some version of. It will have pretty much all the same specs, with a physical slide out keyboard. I might give up my EVO for what they are calling the EPIC.

The HTC EVO video phone works great. No issues. Everything about this new phone, including the service rocks. Im the 1st to complain about shit and i have none.

The Battery life does blow if you use all of the bells and whistles that this phone offers. And this phone has a shitload of bells and whistles. You would need a car battery if you want to play with all of the cool shit this phone does. Not so much an issue with me, because i have 4 extra chargers everywhere. Home, 3 different studio locations, car, etc.

4G is now in Beverly Hills, but the 3G is still way better and faster than ATT's so called 3G.

The iPhone does rock, but ATT is really that bad out hear in LA.

Take a look at HSDPA Apparently AT&T has retro fitted all their 3G cell towers to be able to use this. With a full roll out later this year.

Flashing Custom ROMs on these Android phones is pretty commonplace at this point.

There are a number of Evo ROMs available that incorporating some sort of battery tweaks and fixes.
