    NickB, how safe is our $400 World Cup bet now do you think?

    England and Holland both through.

    England playing Germany.

    Holland playing probably Italy.

    Damn it's close to call

          If I'm not mistaken, when Holland advances we face Brazil in the QF.
          England will probably face Argentina in the QF.

                      I was impressed with Germany in their first game, but they've been really ordinary in their last 2 games.

                      England started really cold, and have only got to luke warm, unless they seriously up their game, which an emotionally charged German fixture should do, then they will struggle.

                      Holland are not going to be able to beat Brazil on current form I think.

                                          Germany will be a problem for england though, it seems england only won so far because of them being strong/big and pushing through, against germany a small problem
