Actually Ted has a responsible technical position at Comcast these days.
I never really watched the cat tossing vid, but I got the impression at the time that it was way overblown. Ted is generally a really nice guy and he liked the cat, so I'm sure he would not have wanted to hurt it.
I watched it several times. It was obvious he thought it would be funny and maybe even 'cool' at the time, but overblown or not he definitely had an earfull coming from all the animal lovers. From what I recall of it he didn't handle the wall of flaming all that well.
Good for him that he survived it and moved on to other things.
And if it wasn't obvious, I was kidding about the wal-mart greeter thing. I knew he'd be overqualified, what with his background. :D
If I'm not mistaken, that one got dragged off to Jesus Camp.
That's what I recall as well.
I have a question for the old timers. What was the name of the guy who pulled some big scam on gfy? It seems like the uproar from that was going on when I first started reading the board.

LOL. You really need to narrow it down. Gary?
