lolz, just finished up a chitty chat with my mom and she had brought this incident up.

her view was that they were both in the wrong, albeit to varying degrees. she thought the cop should of dealt with the pink shirt girl attacking him by releasing the 1st girl and pushing them both away- de-escalating the situation.

it was an option that didn't cross my mind, i thought it interesting enough to share and see what the gfyers thought about it. rewatching the video, i can see how he could of done that instead.

I think they (the police) did the right thing by pulling him off the street and putting him back into a training unit. He never should have stopped and taken on a group of that size by himself, and certainly not for jaywalking. Pretty clear he was in need of further training.
