Is it just me or does the word "announcement" in program email subject lines freak you out too now?

    Is it just me or does the word "announcement" in program email subject lines freak you out too now?

    A sponsor just sent an email announcing positive changes to the program but it had their name and "announcement" together in the subject line. I immediately thought I'd be up all night changing out links for another dead program.

    Programs please stop using "announcement" in subject lines. It's rarely a good thing these days.
