Here is a quote from an article on the conference concerning industry marketing techinques:

"Hughes suggested that the porn industry is intentionally designing websites to lure in young users, too, in much the same way that the tobacco industry has: with cartoons. Consider "DisneyPornLand," a site where kids can see Disney characters having sex, and freebies?graphic teaser clips available to anyone, regardless of age."

There is a lot in the article about "porn addiction" as well. Also, some really lurid testimony from an ex-prostitute who now runs a porn actors rescue operation called "Pink Cross Foundation." The comments after the article are also worth a scan.

Accusing a pay site of "trying to attract kids" is just plain idiotic.

Pay sites are trying to make money!

Kids don't have credit cards to pay, and if they do then the parent is an idiot.

I don't know but I do know those who want to ban all porn will hit us more and more with the availability of Internet porn.

yep but I think thats how this industry learns. They will keep pushing til they get stepped on and then look in shock and say why are they picking on us. lol

Too many teen sites look like kiddy playland.

If your site looks like a barbie doll box, then you should think harder about what kind of audience you are seeking and attracting.
