I read a few months back that she emancipated herself and I want to say she was living with Kurt's fam but could be mistaken about the last part, just remember for sure something about her grandmother and her aunt.

                                                                                      I hope that kid gets control of all the rights when she turns 18, if that hasn't happened already. Its her legacy.

Still, there was about a 2 year period when she got off drugs and cleaned herself up that she was looking pretty good. Now she looks like hell and seems to be back to falling apart.

                                                                                              I'm not sure about the emancipation, but I think Courtney owns almost all the rights to Nirvana's stuff. I think Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic own some of it though because she has sued them several times. She has said she is probably going to sell it all off so I have a feeling Francis will not be getting much. It sounds like Courtney is going to cash in and blow through the money like she has every other dime she has ever gotten.
