A US company Dow, was behind the bhopal gas leak in india which killed 15,000 people. an american company was running the piper alpha oil rig in british waters, that caught fire and killed 167 people. that's just two examples off the top of my head.
i could say "damn yanks" about those, but the average american is about as responsible for those disasters (which are much worse, with regards to the death tolls) as the average brit is for the bp mess.Comment
