It happens in every single World Cup.
I remember when the World Cup was in France, and some brazilian reporters were stolen. It's not a big deal....

In a few days in South Africa 2 guys tried to steal my wallet. Never happened to me before. And I can really say that I have traveled a lot around shitty countries...
