Im just curious with the state of Tubes now days.

What are you thoughts?

Another nod for yes. A customer joined one of my pay sites ($30 USD) just to download one set of photos for a specific model. After he got it, he wrote me to say bye and asked if he could be notified of future sets of the model. That's just one example.

High quality photos will stand on their own.

Yes, any extra features for surfers is an HUGE bonus. do not ever think that small features will not make a difference. it is the small features that make all the difference.

if you arent going to provide them they are going to go somewhere else to view them. the more times they go somewhere else the more chance that site can add features to match or beat yours.

the internet is a game of numbers, the longer a surfer spends on your site the more likely they are to buy. or the more likely they are to come back and buy in the future.

if you take your traffic seriously it should be a fulltime job updating features.

small things like pics/vids/cams and the way they can access and organize each of them makes a huge difference.

the majority of major porn buyers are collectors. what do collectors love? they love CONTENT. content is the king of the internet whether porn or mainstream.

the more content you have and the easier it is to access and organize that content the better your site will do.

it sounds simple but few sites (especially) adult sites work on this. they are caught in the stone age and this is why surfers are leaving in droves.

the huge, over used imaged layouts are dead. it is time to move ahead and start understanding what web 2.0 is really about or your sites will be slowly left in the dust. (not pointed to anyone in particular)

What do you mean by "extremely disproportionate amount of that traffic is mobile"? Do you mean lots of mobile users view pictures?

Compared with my other sites that have mostly video content, the couple of sites I have that are solely image content have a large percentage of mobile traffic. One coed site I have is about 40% mobile. That site wasn't built for mobile users but it's still very popular with them.
