Tube Porn saturation and the Adult Webmaster TRAGEDY OF THE COMMONS
In the 60s, there was a very popular idea called "The Tragedy of the Commons"--common resources will be destroyed due to blind self-interest. This has been proven to be bullshit.
If it is false, then why is there a perception among webmasters that tube saturation has destroyed conversions? Check out the theory and its debunking here http://reason.com/archives/2010/06/0...-for-the-trage See how it may apply to the whole tube situation. Agree? Disagree? Besides group behavior, one solution is to sell experiences/content that can't be pirated (see sig for an example of experience-based adult content) |

I haven't read the article, but most people who think tubes are the end of the industry also have crappy content.
