Are you getting asked to help out friends with "internet jobs?"

It seems I am getting asked more and more by friends and friends of friends, even some family about making some extra income online.

When I say no, they act like there is some easy on switch that you can flip to start making a few hundred bucks a month that I've been holding out on telling everyone

Today alone I got hit up by 2 people. One being a friend that I talk to every once in a while and the other was a friend of someone that I know. Seems like the ones that you know personally are more nice, like "hey would you happen to know any online or internet gigs to bring in some money?"

Versus the email I got from this guy's friend... "Hey, I'm xxxx's friend. He said you do a lot of stuff online, can you hook me up with a something to make a few bucks? Not looking to get rich but just pay the bills. Thx."

In this economy I tend to stay away from telling people what I do, but rather confuse them or make it sound extremely hard. People's notion of the internet still seems to be its a gold rush and letting on that you make anything more than $5 a month they will hound you.

I've had a couple of friends ask. I usually tell them that starting out requires more than 40hrs a week of work. And that I don't have the time or patience to teach them.
I then tell em to start a blog on something they know or like and point them to a few tutorials and boards to get them started

I encourage them by telling them to set themselves up, do some reading, form a plan, then get back to me in a month.

        None have.

Same here. And when I bother telling them strait away they don't start either because they can't believe it is that simple, they are convinced there is some sort of magic way to make money online that I am not telling.

I get it all the time. Pain in the ass!

So, when they ask, I just give them a few thousand dollars cash... Saves explaining, and they seem happy

People ask me to teach them how to "make sales" and think that you can just come in and make tons of cash soon.

                  So annoying.

well, nowadays is impossible.. It was possible some years ago though.

But the adult business is totally fucked up nowadays and it's not so easy to make some bucks anymore.

I used to help some friends in the past tho, they just build a AVS and cashed in 1K after 1 month.. but not anymore.

My friends don't even ask me anymore they just say:

"Hey man, are you still doing any bucks with your adult stuff? because I can get everything for free now, I don't need to pay for porn anymore"

                    So true.

                    .
