Another happy hand user here. Oh, err...

I cant imagine life without stats remote.

pretty nice to give some time and also still have a limited free version

I tried niftystats and I really like their payment tracking, but for some reason it makes my CPU go to 60-70% load so I have to stick with statsremote..

As a guy who just released a 'free service' I can say first hand the only sensible way to do this and win, (adding paid features) is to add paid features, and not remove functionality from the free service. Of course I know hindsight is 20/20 and I'm sure this wasn't their initial plan.

Right now I'm running on a free model and all though I do plan to bring in some high end paid features eventually, I've made certain that everything free and unlimited now will stay that way, the extra monetization will not effect the free member base.

Use the export stats function...that will work

I have this problem quite often with NS and they have no idea why. Once they go paid, I will probably look at StatsRemote.

I've been doing this for 10 yrs and I dont think I've joined more than 15 programs total in all of this time.

To me, 15 free seems quite reasonable.

so, there is no advertising on the paid version? would be nice if they would give a promo price for full version, I have been using free for 3 or more years, and have bought from their advertises on many occasions...

I would like to say few words in this interesting discussion, especially put some people in the right picture.

Unfortunately, many of users did ignore rotating ad. There are consequences, admission (profit) from ad went rapidly down, and therefore we lost our source of investment for nifty stats. Under these circumstances we had to come to decision and limit free version.

Although, many of you bought new version nifty stats pro and we thank you all!

Btw, I am reading here, that statsremote is better ?would you please write an example why? Nifty has some very popular functions ...... , for example verification of the sponsor?s payout.

This whole thread is kind of funny. Nonstop people are complaining about tubes and free porn. Here we have a company in our industry that has provided a free, quality product for years and is saying that they can no longer afford to do so. They need some help. And everyone still expects it for free.
