Did anyone get this $500 scam happen to them? possilby from someone here?

Hey all..

Im not sure if this scam originated from info I supplied to a site that i got from here..

so posting this message to see if anyone has been scammed the same way etc.. if other ppl have, the scam has more than likely originated from a site promoted in here.

I got a call from UPS yesterday, stating they had a delivery for me,
they had my company name , my name and address and phone number etc.

They then stated the delivery had a $495.00 pick up fee, to be presented on delivery etc...

So I asked what the parcel was, it was a Gift Basket from
www.madetoorder.com
quoting an ID number from a Person Called Meche.

So I phoned UPS back and cancelled the delievery .

Has anyone here had this happen to them, had a delivery from UPS or similar parcel deliverer in your area??

If not.. disregard this thread.

Pete

Well he didnt explain it but its pretty obvious. A company is sending out worthless items with a COD expecting some dumbasses to pay for it.
