Former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden dies

John Wooden was a great coach and from what I have heard, read, whatever, he was a good man too. He sure put UCLA on the basketball map when I was growing up.

I just read Bill Plaschke's LATimes piece on Wooden. What a classy guy. Definitely a giver and will be sorely missed. Two types of people in the world--givers and takers. Sad to see one hell of a classy and inspirational giver with solid old school values pass away.
