Never had the vx2000, but had the vx2100 - great camera.

Sold mine also... miss that little baby.

great series of cameras, had a vx1000 but it was destroyed in a torrential rain storm in ecuador while filming a music festival...really sucked. used a beachtek adapter for xlr with a senheiser boom mic...sweet sound.

I sold that exact cam 4 or 5 months ago for $1300 (but here they're way more expensive). Either way, that is a really good price, esp with that anvil case

Bought that package for 3800, like 7 years ago. I hope it reaches 1000 or more with the bids.

I've had my VX2000 for almost ten years now and it's still going strong.

Got it mainly to video surfing and it's spent a lot of time at the beach under the harshest conditions. It's a workhorse for sure.

Great buy for someone that wants a great camera
