I only make about $300-$400 with them a month and only have about 20 or so webmaster sign ups that rarely send me anything.

Your account needs to make $50 per pay period and 1 of your referrals needs to make $50 per pay period and you need to refer 1 new referral every 3 months that makes $50 per pay period, miss one of those and no more referrals.

short version= most affiliates will lose their referrals

I will put it in these simple words: I know for a fact they're losing 2 whales, so I assume they'll lose even more. And all that to keep the lousy 20-30 bucks a month they may pay in average for referrals.

Anyway, not the sharpest knives in the drawer if you ask me my opinion

Anyone who still uses AFF has either had their head in the sand, or knows the risks of doing business with such a questionable company, so this really shouldn't come as a surprise. They have been crooked for a long time and this is just the latest little try-on from a big bag of nasty tricks.

The good thing is the guy I signed up under will get his account closed. And I will have more leverage to pressure AFF into giving me a % raise....

Brokers and brand evangelists are like account reps that work off comission. Residuals are their income.

Putting a cap or cut off on it that wasn't pre-existing is like deciding to put a cap on how many times a revshare affiliate can earn comission on a recurring membership.
