I think if a lot of the newbies don't know who Lensman is, then he succeeded in his retirement. Since Lens left, how many times has he popped in? How many Lensman threads over Eric have their been? None.

So, yeah, I could understand if the man is never spoken or pics posted of, how the newer guys in the industry wouldn't know who he was in the pic.

seriously who the fuck cares. I don't know what he looks like and I've been around for 10+ years. I've even gone to shows, I never did business with him and never met him in person. Actually I don't know what a lot of people look like that I do business with, I don't care either. I never paid attention to the "who's who" just "who I am doing business with". People here not knowing what he looks like isn't a testament to anything other than most people here never meeting the guy before. I don't recall his picture being blasted all over GFY, used in his avatar, etc... how would anyone know what he looks like that never met him in person and/or isn't into the who's who shit.

Oh I agree with you ... especially now that the big players are either out of the industry, closing up shop, etc.

I think you will see the real "who's who" from the end of 2010 to the middle of 2011, and that will be determined by which programs are still standing.

I spend on average about 10 minutes a day on this site if that. I know what his handle looks like and I have seen his posts. I know who he is but what he looks like... nope don't know that and don't care. If this means I don't get picked first to be on the cool team then boohoo I won't be able to sleep at night. I never jerked off to his picture or stalked him at shows unlike other attention / popularity seeking whores here. I don't feel the need to take pictures with "players" to feel important. Especially after my business has failed and I filed bankruptcy. (<- correct spelling) The only thing you are holding onto your miserable existence is those old pictures of you with the "players" back when you were doing good. I honestly feel sorry for him and spent hours trying to help him a couple months ago. The avatar photo is too low resolution to say who it is. The big high resolution photos sure show a better image of the face.
