Half the board does not have him on ignore. But it seems like half the board is talking about him, resulting in more sig views from the other half of the board who didn't know anything about him and never paid attention to his posts until the first half of the board started pointing them out and complaining about him.

You're wrong, over half of active users do have him on ignore. The reason he was never mentioned before is because his posting went up 10 fold along with his bot posts just a few months ago despite his nick being years old. Have no idea why Eric hasn't banned him yet. At least lovesandra is now banned because of this thread.
