    I have a theory on why MEN have to EXPLAIN MOVIES to WOMEN

    It's because women aren't capable of understanding complicated concepts, and the average IQ of a woman is lower than the average man's IQ.

    Why do you think there are less than 10 women CEO's in the Fortune 500 list?

    In summary, most women are thick.

    Phrases to say to your girlfriend / wife when watching a movie:

    "Shut the hell up I'll explain at the end"

    "If you can't be quiet, leave"

    "You're spoiling this movie for me, can't you phone a family member in the other room for 2:25 mins? (check movie running time on dvd box to make sure this figure is accurate)

      Sometimes I need women to explain movies to me. Like "What is it about (insert chick flick) that made you want to see it?", "Why did you like that piece of shit movie?", "Can you explain why you didn't just shoot me in the fucking head instead of making me watch this fucking trash?"...that sorta stuff. Those movies are very confusing to me and need explaining.

          Has nothing to do with them not being smart... They just have no interest in running companies or being the "boss"... Well.. that and that they have a hard time thinking logically a lot of the time...

              The main reason you have to explain movies to women is they are talking the whole time throughout the movie.

              This is why if you watch a movie in the theatre you have 50% lower chance you will need to explain stuff. They know to mainly stay quiet.

              Anyways the best fun is explaining the movie with a totally different plot / ending etc.

                  When I used to work in an office setup, many of the Marketing and Finance Directors I came across (one quite literally, dirty bitch she was) were women. They just can't quite make the grade at the top echelon.

                      We LOVE Star Trek, Jackass, and Die Hard.

                      Women love "How to lose a guy in 10 days", "The Notebook", and "Sex in the City". We men either love to think, love to laugh, or love to shoot things. Girls love to cry.

                                      Women engage in magical thinking. Cause and effect are not real to them. That's why movies like Pretty Woman make sense to women. A rich guy picking a random street hooker and falling in love and making her rich seems plausible to them but men look at it and just go WTF!

                                              Back to the subject, I just watched Men who stare at Goats. I know it's the Cohen brothers and their usual wierd ass take on things, but can someone explain it to me?

                                              The woman in the video shop told me nobody likes it - I did, the attempt to show the futility of war was not lost on me. It did look like the cast was taking the piss the whole time though.

                                                      I always get a kick out of watching a movie with someone, they are sitting next to you the whole time watching the same damn movie, and they constantly ask questions as if you had some crazy insight into the movie and were supposed to know more than they do about the movie.
