I preferred the old way, with the thumbnails...

I have 5 sites set to open in tabs, whenever I open the browser, and they are the sites I use the most.

However all I had to do (up until today) was open a new tab, and the 9 other sites that I most visited (ie not every day, but in general) were displayed.

Now they are no longer there....

It makes me feel very sad, and I am going to go and have a cry...

Mine gone too I want it back! I have some stupid IE Private browsing crap page now.
From what I can tell they have retired that feature as many people complained about it.

i've just given google chrome a try because that still has the most visted sites on a new tab. i actually quite like it and may stick with it (maybe this is why google disabled it for IE). anyone know of any issues with google chrome - security or anything?

                        Mother Fucker,
Internet Explorer made them do away with it.

yeah that's a crazy descision by MS unless they have a similar idea in the pipeline. i liked it enough to switch browsers.
