    War in North Korea Inevitable?

    "U.S. support for South Korea's defense is unequivocal, and the president has directed his military commanders to coordinate closely with their Republic of Korea counterparts to ensure readiness and to deter future aggression," a statement from the White House said.

    Lee called it a "critical turning point" on the tense Korean peninsula, still technically in a state of war because the fighting ended with a truce, not a peace treaty.

    "We have always tolerated North Korea's brutality, time and again. We did so because we have always had a genuine longing for peace on the Korean peninsula," Lee said in a solemn speech to the nation from the halls of the country's War Memorial.

    "But now things are different. North Korea will pay a price corresponding to its provocative acts," he said.

                                          Vietnam War: "The Tonkin incident", where American destroyer Maddox was supposedly attacked twice by three North Vietnamese torpedo boats in 1964 in the Gulf of Tonkin never happened. What was happening at the time were aggressive South Vietnamese raids against the North in the same general area. Huge American presence wasn't decisive and President Nixon negotiated a "peace with honour" in 1973. This war was lost, when North Vietnam finally conquered South Vietnam in 1975.

An International report concluded a NK sub torpedoed the SK ship. Parts of the Torpedo were found on the ocean floor.

                                                                                                                                                          Neither side will back down and neither side will take the first step.

                                                                                                                                                          It would be insane for the North to attack the South and even worse for the US to start a war with a nuclear state.

                                                                                                                                                          The best hope is China uses it's power to tame North Korea through financial aid.

                                                                                                                                                          On a last note, the North is in a bad spot financially. The need aid from the west to keep the regime going.

Germany already won the war, so the Jews then went behind Germanys back and promised Britain to get the US into the war, if the brits would sign the Balfour Declaration and promise them Palestine. I don't believe iraq was on of them, but I do believe afghanistan was and I think that the joint effort there is good.

                                                                                                                                                                  North Koreans need a worldwide intervention (that the americans need to ok first) because of their living conditions and dictatorship. And the hardest part to comprehend about it is that they think they have it good, and the rest of the world is a hole. Brainwashed to the nth degree! These are people who would die for their ruler, and for what? So that their other countrymen can weigh 80 pounds and survive on a ration of 600 calories a day? As their politicians make take in millions and eat like kings?
