A cure for cancer? One step closer, check this out

I found this article interesting. Science is amazing.

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/he...e-cancers.html
New drug reverses even 'untreatable' cancers - Cancer patients may be offered new hope in the form of a harmless virus which can reverse even apparently untreatable forms of the disease when injected into tumours.

so many of these things never work out unfortunately - i remember when i was young there was a TIME magazine cover about monoclonal antibodies, the potential magic silver bullet to cure cancer.

i hope this one fares better - cancer has kicked my family's ass pretty hard and i know so many other friends with the same.

it's a beast that needs to be slayed - progress has been so slow it's maddening.

true that nature wants to get rid of us and death is a part of life but the goal here should be that we live as long as possible as healthy as possible and then pass away peacefully. cancer kills children, moms and dads of children, and people in their prime years, robs people of their golden years etc etc

DCA kills most cancers dead. A relative of my wife's swears this stuff cured her and thousands of other people claim the same. It's cheap and available now.

These is not enough money in curing cancer.

There is far more money to be made treating it.

As soon as they can sell the cure and make sense of the finances, the cure will appear. I'm convinced it's already out there.

When faced with the high costs of getting Food and Drug Administration approval, estimated by Tufts University to exceed one billion dollars, the chance of getting DCA approved for the treatment of cancer in the United States is extremely low.
Doesn't look good with DCA or this new virus either for the U.S. anyway. We may have to hop over to Canada or Europe for treatment.

You can buy DCA right now, but the best source to get it was shut down by the US government. The reason it may not get FDA approval is because you need like a billion dollars in funding and it's just too much money for a drug that can not be patented. I believe people are donating to fund trials which is a great solution. There are clinics outside of America offering DCA therapy. It really is sickening the effort the US government puts towards stopping dying cancer patients from getting this drug. It is inexcusable.
