you do realize that WMC is going to fuck everyone right? There is a 90 day "Void After" date that they are going to wait and push for. Even if everything is cleared up today, don't be surprised if you hear sometime in August that you can cash them.
Why? Well shit, they have thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in checks that were issued out. If only a small % of those people don't cash the checks they make out like bandits.

That doesn't even make practical sense. They would reissue the checks or lose any remaining business they would have. Well a investigator might think that the reason you didn't cash the check is because
you knew "what was up" and knowingly joined in on it and now you're trying to hide
because all the "innocent people" who knew nothing were actually contacting the
cops because they felt ripped off when their checks bounced.
