    For all the people crying about tubes/torrents...

    When's the last time you bought a legit version of Photoshop?

    When's the last time you paid for your mp3 downloads?

    I do not like the illegal tubes, I do not like piracy, but I sure as hell hate hypocrisy. If you have ever downloaded a song you did not pay for or you ever downloaded a piece of software you didn't pay for, you are a part of the problem, simple as that.

    Oh and to save LoveSandra some time:

                                  I paid for adobe cs4 creative suite (doubt i will upgrade to 5)

                                  I pay for music on itunes, Yes I used to download music before, but for the past couple years i find its easier just to get them from the source, and pay the whatever, than finding songs the illegal way.

                                      I just purchased the entire CS5 suite last week, as well as the new Slash album from Amazon MP3.

                                      I also downloaded about 20 gig of movies and tv shows overnight.

                                      Statistically, those who pirate their movies and music generally spend more money each year buying movies and music than those who don't. Not sure who did that study, but they did and those were the results.

                                          You have a good point but why should I pay for Photoshop when is free on million sites for "free" software! I don`t have extra money for spending. Only I pay for the necessary software.

                                              If "all" tubes and torrents did was download and keep copies of porn movies on their computers and look at them sometimes.. I doubt anyone would care about them.

                                              So in a way, I agree. But another part of me has to point out that it's different.. and I also am not making excuses. Just pointing out something.

                                              I agree also that cigarette smokers are the problem with the cigarette/tobacco health problem. All that has to happen is they all quit. Problem solved.

                                              But if it were illegal to distribute cigarettes in all stores.. it sure would make more of a dent in the problem than waiting for everyone to quit smoking.

                                              It's a complex thing. People used to argue that "all" that had to happen to keep hardcore from being free content was webmasters needed to stop using it. I argued that no, content producers needed to stop SELLING it to any idiot with a computer and money.

                                              I dunno, it can go both ways on any given day.

                                                  Well you have a point but in the end it is the mindset that needs to change. People are always going to distribute illegal content, mp3, movies, software, whatever. It's the mindset that needs to change that people feel this is ok.

                                                  I have dozens of people I know who tell me I'm crazy because I buy my music on iTunes, "why are you paying? This shit is "free" and it just amazes me.

                                                  Also, the people in this thread posting they bought their PS license and use iTunes, I'm not pointing a finger... it was more of a general statement. I know there are honest people and the telling part is that most of the people who did post are people I actually recognize.
