Maybe it's faster when you just have Notepad.exe open... But I think 2 GB is too little. When you start to have several apps open you'll see that your PC becomes a slow ass shit cunt. I'd go for more RAM.

I assume you're talking about the Core i5? The CPU itself will be just as fast, regardless of the amount of ram you use. Actually Win7 will be faster with 4GB of ram rather than just 2GB. I wouldn't go any lower than 4GB these days.Comment

4GB minimum and if you wanna run some virtual machines or do some heavy apps, why not spend some extra bucks and get 8GB ( go for W7 64bit then). Your computer will work much smoother.Comment

I have intel i5 2.27ghz running on 4gb ram, shes sweet... I think you need the 4 or more for the 64bits.
i5 are very fast & smooth
