Well it IS a dilemma for sure.
Personally i would pay the producer if it was just one solo set and make him/her aware of the screw-up and then never use him/her again.

On the flip side you should have double checked, however the only reason for that is that most producers in todays market are utterly useless and dont have the slightest grasp of how to run a business.

Have plenty of models show me pics when they were like 25 and are now like 35 and send them to me and say, do you shoot milfs? I ask if its a recent picture and they say yes when its not at all.

IDK why people do this. Do they really think I won't notice they look totally different?

I always meet girls before hand unless I know they worked for another company that I know only shoots hotties and it was recent.

But at least I can just send them home, or not call them back. You don't really get that option unless you want to be known as the guy who stiffs on payments.

I would just tell him you are displeased and see what he says.

He offered me a 100$ discount... Stating that it is his
cost price and at that price, he makes no money on the shoot.

If it seems legit on the amount he gave you a discount then at least hes trying to be ok about it. But idk man, double check on stuff dude, this is tough but damn LOL (pics) Lesson learned.

I would probably not accept that content if I was buying as that is WAY different. She looks thick but cute in the first pic, she looks like a total mess in the second.

If a photographer did that to me after showing me another picture absolutely 100% would not get paid. He should have sent the model home. It's the photographer's fault. He either misrepresented her or he was a fuckin douche bag for not canceling the shoot when she arrived. Not your problem. Don't pay.
