When I asked what he brings to the table he says, "well its my idea and I'll get hosting and pickup a domain at godaddy for it", which we would pay for out of the profits. Then tried for 15minutes to convince me it was good 50/50 deal...WTF are some people thinking...

I have a similar story. An ex biz partner wanted 50% of a deal, for which we were supposed to share the work equally. It didn't work out and I walked away.

Two months later he came back offering the same deal, for which I'd have to do ALL the work, and he'd offer me 40%. I couldn't believe it. He seriously hadn't worked out in his head how stupid it sounded and rambled on as if he was selling the dream of a lifetime.

thanks for the laugh. I have had about 3-4 similar "business offers" in the past

basically it was usually someone who wanted to start a text tgp where he would provide the "idea" as in the niche, the domain (something as worthless as sexygirlsshowingthisandthatormaybesomethingelse.co m) and all I would have to do to get 50%, would be to write about 10K long gallery descriptions, SEO work and drive traffic from my other sites into it, to get the bloody thing started. Sounds great, doesn't it, lol
