No idea now the wholesale/distributor prices but they're probably still the highest. It's automatic. Those would be the last titles to be cut from distributors order forms. Figure back in the heyday Jules was selling a ton through Evil Angel. With his new company i'm sure there's less pieces moved but less people to split with. Jules product had a well deserved golden reputation with retails and fans. If I remember right Jules posts here, so he can weigh in if he want. Especially on the main issue since we're all off topic lol. If it helps with figuring numbers he mentioned in a posting before his best selling title sold 25,000 pieces or something of that nature. |

This is none of my business but- Jules is a friend of mine. his house was not 8 million- it was less than that- but it was still a lot of money. I don't know exactly how much it was but I would say it was closer to 4. He shoots most of his movies in his house and rents it out as a location to other people often. So there is a purpose for it- it's not just to show off or throw away money. Most of the houses that double as a location in LA are about that much money.
he is a good business man- he has made a lot of money over the years, and I have known plenty of people who have worked for him over the years and he hasn't ripped any of them off. He is one of the few people still making money in the DVD gonzo market- and he distributes other peoples stuff, some of which are very close friends of mine... who are all very happy with their checks every month. regardless of what your feelings are on him- no one should encourage anyone else to put someones library on a tube site. it just hurts all of us. |

wow, dont visit gfy for a few months and all hell breaks loose! lol....anyway, I have terms with everyone I do business with through my company, too many expenses, most people get paid in 30 days simple, if someone does contracting work at my house I pay them on the spot...it is easy to run up a 100k bill quickly especially with printing most companies have at least a $100k printing bill at all times....we pay everyone fairly (not that I have to justify myself for contractors bills on a webmaster board! lol)
