The initial email asked him for personal information by which they identified him... I am certain he has had his identity stolen as well.

To add to my story earlier regarding the TV program , a couple that the show was interviewing from Canada ( they parted with something crazy like $100 k ) even flew to the UK to the scammers lawyers offices in London to sign the paperwork and return home with the check ! ( of course they didnt realise the scammers so called lawyer offices etc would turn out to simply be 1 day rented out service offices costing about $80 a day etc......

All those scammed admitted that it was all down to GREED ! and thats the problem!
