I was just thinking about the vid game era differences earlier this evening, while starting Mass Effect 2. The first hour of the game is stopping every 10 seconds to be spoon fed a tutorial on the game.
I remember playing Resident Evil years ago -- and in the first few seconds they dropped you in the middle of a pack of zombies with a pistol and no instructions. It was like "here you are bitch. That last image is pretty funny. It's lame how with the consoles, they're always trying to squeeze money out of you, like when new online maps come out, they should just give them to you for free. And it's like a flock thing, the hardcore players need the maps, so they buy them, then everyone else has to follow because everyone's playing the newest maps.
I remember the good old days of PC gaming, playing First Person Shooter games and we didn't have to worry about this. It's a shame that those days will never come back because consoles have taken that market away.Comment
