    situation: cop wants to hang out with me and friends, at my place but isnt cool

    so here is the situation.

    one of the neighbours is friends with a cop...and not some lowly cop in a car....some high up muckity muck, in charge of high profile criminals or WHATEVER


    anyway, he is a good guy, i like him and his wife....when we see them at our mutual friends we always have a great time...good laughs etc

    so, now they have expressed interest in hanging out with us and friends at our place

    however, sometimes at our place people feel the need to drink and smoke the herb if you will


    no big deal adults, having fun etc


    but mr big shot..has made it known he will bust anyone he sees smoking pot..lol


    what the fuck is his deal? hey can i come and hang out and party, but im going to resort to my 9-5 job half way through a bottle of whiskey because im a fuckin asshole.


    never.

    i know some other police officers...they are around to see people smoke some reefer, they look the other way, its party for fuck sake.

    anyway, word to the wise.

    dont trust people just because you have a goodtime with them...some people will be cocks to you no matter what


    size people up, and if all else fails ask them if they have any to bring to the party..lol

    how they answer will tell you something

      Easy solution.

      Ask the cop to bring the weed. Then if he want's to bust you for smoking it you can turn him in for supplying it.

          i saw an off duty cop wasted out of his mind at a bar threaten to shoot a chick because she wouldn't talk to him. Yes he was carrying because the bar had hired him to do security. some security.

                                                                                                                                                                  most cops in unmarked cars while on duty wont stop you for speeding. However weed is a big enough crime that on duty or off unless you know the cop real well or he doesn't give a shit about his job, he is going to bust you for it.

                                                                                                                                                                              and yes, it is still a federal crime to possess, cultivate, traffic etc cannabis. but at least in my state, you can get a card for 70 bucks a year and go to any of the 1000s of dispensaries that have popped up in the last couple years. you can grow it, sell it, smoke it legally. some localities have tried to set local ordinances, but those don't hold up in court, because the law (in effect since the mid 90s) says nothing about limits.
