![]() TPS108.dll <--- DIe Bitch Die!
Well been dealing with popups last couple weeks nad trying to find the source of the shit that was causing it. Finally found a DLL file that could not be deleted manually... I ran ad aware and even it couldnt delete it or take care of it... As far as which software placed the dll on my pc i am still not sure but you might want to look in your pc for this dll file. It was found on my pc in C:\WINNT\system32 Turns out a company designed this dll for the specific purpose in helping them deliver targeted ads. You can read more about this dll shit at the companys site that developed it for advertisers ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Removal Instructions: If you want to uninstall, you can do so easily through the add/remove function in your control panel. You can access your control panel by going to: 1. Start (typically, the button in the bottom left of your screen) 2. Choose SETTINGS 3. Choose CONTROL PANEL 4. Choose ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS 5. Select TPS108 6. Click on ADD/REMOVE Of course we encourage you to leave it on so that you can benefit from the occasional offers that it shows you. sounds very similar to a program called "Save" that was automaticallt installed when I installed an MP3 to WAV decoder.
it pops-up ads based on the pages your visiting. for example, everytime i would visit my webbanking page, it would pop up an ad for a credit card. there was no "Save" in Add/Remove programs, so I had to find the folder and run un-install from there. Once I did that, it told me "MP3 to WAV Decoder might now work properly now" |
