    Is Your Money Bad Too?

    In the past week I hired 3 people online to do different work for me, a designer a application developer and a DBA expert for a new project.

    So before I hired them I spoke in detail with them over AIM and ICQ and they always got back to me right away, and they where always online.

    So I send them all money to start working and here is where the bad money comes in.

    The designer is all of a sudden not online for 2 days and does not answer email, so I send him an email saying if he does not get back within 5 hours I?ll make sure to contact PayPal.

    He gets back to me right away saying there was a death in his family he is so sorry blah blah blah?

    The application developer all of a sudden is not at his computer and I get a response from someone when I ICQ but the person says it?s his girlfriend and he?s out on an emergency his sister was in a bad accident. (I knew it?s really him)

    So I said I know it?s you and im calling elance right now and showing them the log etc. All of a sudden just as I said that the so-called girlfriend says ?OMG he just walked in, hes real honest, blah blah?

    The DBA expert was a total bullshitter once he got the money, I had him give it back and I hired a local guy.
