Yesterday we started our day off on the border of Iowa and South Dakota, in Sioux City. We had just entered my Holy Land when I joked with goodgirl that we should find a truck stop and dump Buddy, then find a bike to rent.
About an hour later we were approaching Sioux Falls and saw a billboard for a Harley dealer. We decided we would stop there to pick up a couple t-shirts. As luck would have it, they were having demo rides of the 2010 models. Even luckier was that the next tour was leaving in 15 minutes. I picked out a 103 c.i. Harley Limited and borrowed a couple helmets. Made for a great way to start the day.
Today we went to Wall Drug, Badlands National Park, and Mt Rushmore. It is beginning to snow around here, so I guess we will have to cut a diagonal across and down toward NoCal.
