you gotta love this! About a month ago I took my Dell desktop to get 2 more gigs of ram to my local Dell service center. Their tech guy put the new ram in, charged me like $120 and sent me packing.
About 4 days ago my computer started acting weird and it'd turn itself off. Finally yesterday it wouldn't boot up at all. So I took it to a computer shop a few blocks from my house, and they found that the extra RAM the Dell people had put in was conflicting with the previous RAM, because they had different frequencies.
You would think that of all people, the Dell technician would know not to pair rams of different frequencies!!!
