lately i don't give a fuck what most of you do and hardly contribute anything anymore but i would think that the things that are getting the most attention is really starting to show the level of participants here. there are some major, major things going on in the industry right now, yet you see very little about it here. which is a giant 180 degrees from what you would have seen 3-4 years ago. there are several affiliate programs completely tits up, just stopped paying, processors caving, all sorts of shit with the banking community, stolen content is largely being desensitized, yet people care what some dude does to make money. it really puts it in perspective. if you're sitting on gfy all the time in this day and age, you're not positioning yourself for the future. maybe a large percentage of people here just aren't seeing what others are, have lost touch, or aren't as involved in the nuts and bolts of operations that actually make money any more. i know one thing, if i was still solely and affiliate, right now gfy would never see me. not even once.

who cares what this guy does. let him spout off all he wants. any gfy veteran knows that if you ignore attention whores, they implode and shrivel up in their own lack of self worth.

Unfortunately, without the bullshit you do not get the views. There are probably a dozen or more other adult WM forums out there. Most move at a snail's pace. Others may have minimal action, but simple not as good for doing business on volume. However, they may have some quality long term type business in B2B.

If you use the boards for business, GFY is the spot you need to really focus on. The others are nice for chatting and convo, but for eye balls and sales, you need to be on GFY.

Ultimately it comes down to what you use the boards for, and the segment of business you are in. Content dudes need volume, traffic guys need quality. Do you use them for doing business, or entertainment.

The boards vary on their effectiveness depending on how they are run, and what you sell.
