The level of hate in here is really sad.

the profiling in the law is way to broad ....

for instance

you caniadians that come to the show there... if a cop deicides to pull you over and you happen to not have the shit in your pocket which how many carry that shit everyday you will go to jail...

if your american citizen and happen to not have your ID on you you go to jail.....

they need to fix the law.....

Yep, that's exactly what the federal law states too and every person coming into America is told... keep your passport/papers on you at all times, it's the federal law. And it's a State law to have an ID on you at all times already.

oh don't take my statement the wrong way... im not supporting illlegals LOL... but honestly they say carry your passport with you at all times when we travel but I never do cause I don't want to loose it and be stuck in the country ...... when I travel abroad I carry my Passport to get in and out thast it......

I do not want illegals in here whatsoever .... but the way the law is written you can just stop someone cause you think they are illegal ..... you don;t have to commit any crime and can be stopped .... I think it should be 2ndary law and furthermore it should be handled by INS not cops..... while this cop is wasting his time trying to figure out ID on this guy 6 others are being robbed , raped and beaten....

I personally never leave without my ID cause I carry a gun everywhere I go.... so I need to be able to prove that I am who I am cause I carry a gun ....

but I can honestly say I know tons .... shit tons of people who don't carry an ID everywhere they go... specally if they rarley drive...

I was with Paul Rodriguez this last weekend in LA.. we were driving back to his house... we hit a check point ... the CHP officer who walked up asked for his ID he did not have it on him... thankfully the CHP was latino dood and knew who paul was... but

if that had happened in AZ with this new law... he could have been taken to jail cause he looks and sounds like a mexican...

but he is a vet for the US airforce ...

IMO it's not fair to many people get arrested for no reason with the new law it's to broad .... they just need to refine it a bit thats all.... like I said im not condoning border jumping and shit....

First.... the law says you have to have probable cause, you can't just pull someone over or stop them for looking illegal. It has entire parts in it about profiling and how the cop/department can be sued directly for it.

Second, if you traveled through AZ even before this law, didn't have your ID and got stopped, you stood a chance of doing to jail or getting a fine. We have check points all over the place, you best have your ID and/or Papers on you at all times - even before this law.

I think if you're asked for your ID and your Pink and you don't have one, it will be equal to the any other skin color you have. However most people know DL info which can be ran on the spot.... It just happens, AZ has 10,000 illegals from Mexico to 1 illegal from any other place.
