Even CLOSING an IE window takes 10 times longer than closing a Chrome window. I've never used IE8 so I don't know if that's any better than IE7, but I couldn't be paid to use IE7 anymore after getting used to Chrome and the nice lightweight speed of it.
It's amazing how sluggish IE is after using Chrome a lot

I think Chrome and Opera are definitely the fastest. There are little things about Chrome that bug me so I am still using FF. I might make the switch to Opera but I like to try and use a browser that customers will be mostly likely to use

I remember back when the speed of your internet experience was determined by the type of connectivity you had and had nothing to do with what browser you were using.

I'm switching today. I've had Chrome on every pc in my office, just not my laptop, where I've been using FF for the past few years. From what I've seen, there's a pretty big difference.80% Revshare or 30$ PPS on $1 trials: 200 Niches = Vidz.com Galleries / FLVs / Embeds

I'll have to check out Opera sometime. Does it ever have any issues with sites where people don't take it into consideration when developing? That would be the only thing I'd worry about with trying something like Opera that isn't used by a significant percentage of netgoers.Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? Yep..
I use Chrome for my most of my browsing and my "easy" work-related stuff. That is to say, I use it to check analytics/ccbill client admin/keep an eye on servers.
I use FF for a majority of the other work-related things, though. Dual monitors helps with that.Comment

I use Opera 95% of time, but there are few sites that don't work correctly in Opera, in that case I'm using FF.Comment
