it got really slow towards the end

VERY bad marketing imho. When i saw the commercials on TV they made it look like it was a kid's movie about kid super heroes (sort of like sky high or something).

Most people aren't aware that it is an actual comic series.

The characters were cast very well for the parts, and the movie flow as great. It didn't get dull and boring through parts like a lot of movies can.

Definitely one of the best movies I have seen this year....

wow i can't believe that there are that many people who could even stomach this one no less love the damn thing...

Was rated R (which is hard to accomplish in Canada) and looked like a comedy with some balls to it so figured it may be a gem. Wow was I wrong.. was written for 11-14 year old boys, which is fine, except they made it unnecessarily rated R!!! By unnecessary i mean if they cut out about a minute and a half from that movie it would be rated pg-13 and at least that demographic would be able to go see it!!!

most of the cast was boring, and cage only did this movie to pay back taxes obviously so pretty painful overall...(yes i'm aware it was a comic and yes i don't give a shit so was tank girl)

hit girl was a little fun at first, the idea and the attitude made it interesting until she started MURDERING people, some in cold blood, as opposed to saving people or upholding justice...

One of my favorite movies of the year. It stayed pretty damn true to the comic as well...
agreed on the poor marketing....I think it's what caused it to only do so-so at the box office, but I think it will be a huge video hit.

Same thing happened to TRUE ROMANCE, piss poor marketing and maybe even sabotage. And we know how great True Romance turned out to be. I can't believe this thread is still going, but this movie really is that good and I agree it might be the best movie of the year!

Best unexpected for sure! But Iron Man 2 was pretty good too, GREAT for a sequel :thumbsup
