    Are you modifying your sites for the iPad?

    I'm curious as to how many of us feel the iPad is going to be a game changer and are modifying their video and/or sites for it.

                  i am modifying them for every type of mobile phones, ipads, iphones, touchpads, notebooks, and other books, so i am making every site like 5980 times

                      We did not modify our existing sites, we created a brand new 100% iPad compatible site.

                      www.PinkVisualPad.com was designed and built solely for our iPad surfers and they are loving it.

                      The iPad stats show this isn't just a short-term fad. I'm anxious to see what the 3G release brings. =)

                              I agree , the mobile side of the industry is just taking shape and is for sure the future for surfing the net..

                                          So, the iPad is a small computer device that has limited connections to the Internet. What you are saying is that it cannot access all sites. I don't see why the iPad can't be treated same way as a laptop or a big computer with the Internet access.

                                              why bother? it's high res enough to work on real sites

                                              noticed people like RK / Brazzers who have always had very good mobile sites, have left ipad to goto normal.

                                              i looked on mine, they look fine ....

                                                  If anyone ever switched their sites over to flash, no bueno on the iPad.

                                                      The problem is Flash. I use Flash in a lot of my sites. The iPad market is marginal at best, not worth the effort for me at this time. I will wait for a new tablet using open source and build for that at some future date. Jobs stuck his foot in it shutting Flash out, just what kind of security problems is Flash going to cause for a tablet that doesn't have a harddrive and isn't going to be used as a computer.

                                                      The Apple thing seems to be restricted to a niche that apparently likes being told what to accept and willing to pay top dollar for the privilege.

                                                              i had read this article in the past about the always compatible embed, some sort of function that uses the right one based on success of the other, wish I could find it again ,because that would be ideal beyond IPAD to start working towards a setup where content is delivered regardless of the plugin

                                                              i did notice a site where flash is needed, wasn't adult, I just moved on
