Well, it seems the cat is out of the bag on these types of sites...girlfriend sites convert like crazy and seem to have went from fad to niche being offered by "major" programs...
There is a problem I'm seeing with this though...
If you are a program (big or small) and putting out a girlfriend site, make sure it looks AMATEUR. The same old slick tours with fancy high end graphics just don't convert as well as those sites that actually look like they were put together by a spurned boyfriend.
Stop with all the fancy stuff and just stick with the basics: pictures that look amatuerish and an embedded video player. Seeing obvious porn stars with perfect bodies on these sites will convert for shit. All those video before that had the bad lighting and poor cinematography...the ones that used to be filler content if even used at all...they are now golden ;-)
Are sponsors really not getting the move to Web2.0/social media type sites tours? There is money on the table for those who can adjust and adapt and who "get it".
They will be the same ones crying about low conversions and blame tubes and everything else, yet fail to make any sort of adjustment towards a different model than the one they already know.
Content providers...here is your chance to shoot the girls you might have turned away in the past because they don't fit the "glam" mold...here is your chance to shoot them without makeup and tons of lighting. Jump in and grab the cash....
