Question on domain names - GoFuckYourself.com

Say I started a golf site and wanted some good search engine traffic.

If I got golf.ws and used it as a splash page would it index well and thus when people type in "golf" into google or Lycos my site will get a first page listing.

Just thought you guys would know.

well for sure the name is a good thing for having the site indexed into the SE's but u also need to make meta tags and keywords. they really do the job.

That was 3 years ago. At this moment, the content of a page plays the most important role, as well as numer of links to it.
