While I concede your point, I simply refer back to my previous point about the ignore feature. I'll take it a step future and give you a story.
When I started here years ago, I tried to be nice and go with the flow. You know what happened? Endless bashed. When someone new comes to GFY and tries to ask questions, learn something, give input, help people, or talk from their experience and results, what happens? They are bashed relentlessly.
Over time you get people who endlessly troll you. Do not like you, your posts, your business, what you sell, how you sell it, and what not. You could do like many and simply choose not to post. That's what most big program owners have opted to do. They have gotten tired of being bashed all the time, and spending days defending themselves against fry cooks, they simply stop posting here all together..
Or.... over time you just do not give a fuck.
I still do plenty of business off the boards. Regardless of a few whiners or certain people's perceptions. I also know that most of my client base is around 7% of the people who post here. So I do not concern myself with the other 93% who are not buyers.
I am not alone in this little story above. There are many who understand it well, and I have heard it myself from program guys at shows that no longer post here. I will continue doing business on the boards as I always have. Regardless of the same couple of dozen whiners who cry/bitch/slam every thing I do, or offer.
The point I was making is, these same guys who for YEARS have been so annoyed that they make these 'Barefootsies' weekly threads, or follow me around from board to board, or troll my sales posts relentlessly should just use ignore. Those who I will never do business with, or will do business with me, should just put me on ignore instead of bitching about it.

Well, that's 7% who can afford higher ticket items.
Out of that, there are maybe 2-3% who are actually BUYING at any given time. So you have myself, content guys, people selling their empires, domains, among endless other things all trying to sell to that 2-3% of actual big ticket buyers.
Most of those guys no longer post on message boards, and read it once or twice a day. So you have to do what you must to get in front of those guys. Especially in this economy where you have a mass exodus of adult and glut.Comment

I'll concede your point to some degree. Even I get tired of seeing 'Barefootsies' threads every other day. However, I can either sit back and be bashed personally with homo, and small dick remarks, and have my business and content slammed endlessly by the same names on a daily basis, or I can use the exposure to market my wares.
I make the most of the exposure.
While annoying, it's better than being brought down their the level of fighting with strangers do not like me/I do not like on a message board. Most people have no idea on who or what I do in regards to business as amplified in theking's thread. Nor will I do business with a vast chunk of GFY, and vice versa. So pandering to those people, and getting slammed anyway, is really not an option.

in all honesty I think BF deserves a board warning for something close to borderline with blatant spam. BF i'm not going on your toes, do as you know I personally consider applying ignore feature in your case. no trolling, just an observing opinion from fella gfyer.

Anything you point at me doing, I can easily point to a dozen doing worse both now, and historically. Whether in B&S or main forum. So the complaints about me being worse are really just someone's personal agenda in that regard.
Just last week in fact I could have taken screen shots every day, numerous times a day, about threads in any section doing the same as I am, often times worse. However, not a peep about them. As I said, it really comes down to certain individual's agenda. My buddy can do this, and I say nothing. But this person I do not like I will troll.

and why I consider ignore feature, I'll explain here, once, wont get in debate who's right or wrong and who does what:
everybody does "see sig" especially in drama threads, you got that "see sig" thing on to new level with large images pointing to your sig in many threads and sometimes multiple times in a single thread.. - this is what I consider borderline to blatant spam and only because it's repeated on a constant basis..many do it but only on rare special occasions.
threads in your name don't worry me, if i'm in the mood for a bit of trolling drama i'll lurk, most of time I pass them by.
honest opinion.

Your So Fucking Banned threads get on my last nerve. Whether you intend them to or not, the way they come across to me is jeering and like a kid on a playground who got someone else in trouble.
Maybe I take them wrong, and sure, I could put you on ignore to not see them, but I don't like to put actual people in the business on ignore. They may post something that meets my needs. I've only put one person on ignore in my whole 6 years here, and that was squishypimp.

That's perception. Not reality.
I typically only posted the 'huckleberry image' to people I myself personally had gotten banned. It normally was a long time coming, and there would be a lot of shit leading up to it. So it was a release.
However, a few friends, found that hilarious. So they would actually hit me up when someone would be banned and ask that I post the 'huckleberry' for whomever had gotten banned. That's how it started.
Those threads get a lot of views, because people always look or remark on the who and why someone is banned. So it fell into a loop. Then over time, people actually ASSume I get all these people banned myself, and have some kind of special arrangement with Eric. Which I do not.
People get banned for breaking the rules. Eric does not banned them arbitrarily.Comment
