Seen a lot of "sales are down, blame the tubes, blame obama, blame the nwo" threads lately and for my 6,000th post i wanted to post a little motivational.

Not all sales are down. Yesterday was a marvelous day for one of our affiliates that made this sunday an excellent "Sales Sunday", see screenshot (and sig way down below lol):

He is on the revshare program since 1 month with his mobile traffic. I have to honestly say a lot of his traffic is se and typein traffic, so its high quality. He isnt the biggest in the program, BUT he is the best converting one with just a little bit of traffic he is maximizing his profits.

Focus on building that seo. He plans 1 day of the week to close his icq/aim/msn to start working on those rankings, even when i think he perfected his site he still does that every week. From checking his alt tag to making sure his site's loadspeed is fast.

There is still money in porn, as long as you focus on quality instead of panicking and resorting in ways that will only get your site's quality lower. Traffic amounts don't mean shit when its not converting. You can buy all the cheap traffic in the world, but thats what it is, cheap traffic. It wont only cost you the $1 per 1000 in traffic, it will even cost you your bandwidth.

1.) Aren't those overall program stats?

2.) You claimed just lately that you have plenty of affiliates making 20+ sales a day and now post 14 sales on one day?

3.) If you have bigger affiliates, why would you post this stats and not the best? We can't see how he converts so I don't see how ratio is important in this case.

Just curious, because I saw many programs claim to have big sales on gfy, while their real sales were a joke.

Nope. I didnt claim i had "plenty of affiliates making 20+ sales a day" with this program. I couldnt even claim that, because we are on a strictly invite only basis, and without checking the exact numbers i think we only have about 20 affiliates accepted right now. None of them is making 20 sales a day, if i ever said that i wasnt refering to our program, you might be confused with the time i was running a HUGE tubesite, which im not doing anymore. That site was doing over 20 sales a day, not with this program because our program wasnt launched that time.

I checked this affiliates stats because he was the one making the most sales yesterday (sunday) out of our affiliates, with the least traffic (AND he didnt mind me posting his stats if i promised to not publicise his name). More because of the threads that popped up about the sales being worse then ever yesterday, so i could give a little motivational that sales can still be quite good. Im sure there are programs doing 20x more then we do, but then again, like said, we are a small MOBILE only program and are on invite only and just in our 2nd month of being live.

I can see your point on the programs telling everyone they are doing 100s of sales a day, and i agree that some of those statements smell fishy to say the least. Big programs will be doing more then 100 i guess, but we don't. I wont pretend we do, because i would be lying. We do way better then i even expected, but again, we are a small and new program, and i want to keep it like that for a bit longer. Thats why we are on this invite only policy for now, so we dont oversaturate it.

Hope that explains it a bit andrej, i know you already based your opinions about me earlier on and i respect that. But this thread is just what it is, a little motivational and a celebration of nice girls and 6k posts

We see people doing 1:xxx and we see people doing 1:xxxx. There is now way to tell beforehand on how well the affiliates traffic will convert. Ive seen people doing amazing with sites i thought sucked major ass, and people i thought would do recordsales sucking at 1:7000.

Quality matters, but webmasters still valuebase "the program" on their ratios, not on their sites traffic quality. With a full mobile program like ours, getting those stats on a sunday where a lot of people where complaining about sales, its ok to post something like this i hope?
